Pay To Play?

Pay to Play? Over the last couple of Years we have all seen the conversation of paying to play— or paying to perform being debated on social media specifically the Facebook app. It is not uncommon for an artist to be asked to pay a performance slot fee if they would like to perform at an event. Especially shows or concerts booked with a celebrity artist. The question we present is this— do you as an artist feel you should pay to perform if asked?
