“ Come and Eat with me “ — Joyner Lucas Hosting a Thanksgiving Feast for Those with nowhere to go at Worcester YMCA

On November 26th, Massachusetts’ own Joyner Lucas is stepping out of the spotlight and into service, bringing his community together for a Thanksgiving feast at the YMCA on Main Street.

For many families and individuals who are struggling, dealing with hardship, or simply without a place to go for the holiday, Joyner is making sure nobody is left behind. This year, he’s teaming up with local businesses — including the highly respected Worcester restaurant Raíces — to help serve warm meals, create a welcoming atmosphere, and make the holiday feel a little brighter for those who need it most.

The partnership reflects the heart of the community: local people and local leaders working side-by-side to lift each other up.

Joyner has also shared an important message with his supporters: "This event is not for fanfare, photos, or celebrity energy." He made it clear that he won’t be in “rapper mode” — no cameras, no autographs, no celebrity presence — just a man doing something meaningful for his city.

He wants the focus on the people who need support, not on him. For many in Worcester, this event symbolizes more than a meal. It’s a reminder that hip hop culture, community, and compassion often go hand in hand.

Joyner Lucas has never shied away from speaking on real-life issues in his music, and now he’s acting on those values in a way that impacts people directly.

On a holiday centered around gratitude, unity, and giving, Joyner is proving once again that his influence goes far beyond the studio.

This Thanksgiving, Worcester will feel that impact — one plate at a time!
