“Nail in the Coffin”: King Ace Revives a Classic Beat to Fire Shots at Benzino

Boston hip-hop has another conversation going right now, and this one involves two names from two different generations of the city’s rap scene: King Ace D’General and Benzino.

If you’ve been paying attention, you already know there has been some back and forth between the two.

What makes this situation interesting is that this isn’t just two rappers throwing shots at each other from a distance.

At one point, King Ace was actually booked to open for Benzino at a show.

According to the story surrounding the situation, the event didn’t go the way King Ace felt it should have, and he demanded his money back.

He ultimately received a refund.

Now the situation has escalated into music.

King Ace recently released a Benzino diss track over the same track that Eminem famously used when he went at Benzino years ago: “Nail in the Coffin.”

Benzino then went live and responded saying king ace has no real fan base.
